Everything in business is about numbers.  Proof is ALWAYS in the numbers.

I set up an E-Mail Campaign to sell a Product that wasn’t even mine. Iwas an affiliate and just used my plain old affiliate link (fromclickbank) This Product was an E-Book Course for Losing Weight. (a very HOT niche)This Can be done with any niche.

I decided that numbers were going to play a big part in my success. I started doing calculations and calculations until I couldn’t look at the calculator anymore. I was getting about a 2% conversion rate promoting the same affiliate link on my website. (Pretty Low Conversion Rate)

I tried to be conservative in my calculations so I used the 2% conversion rate for the prospective Email campaign. I figured if I can Email 10,000,000 ‘targeted’ Weight Loss consumers in one month (or a little bit longer) the numbers would look like this:

If we sent 10,000,000 EMails Promoting the Weight Loss E-Book, based on research we figured about 2% of those people would read the emailand click on the affiliate link after reading the sales email. That would be 200,000 clicks or ‘hops’ to view the Ebook sales page. If I had a 2% conversion in sales that would be only 4,000 Pruchases. I was making about $30 per sale in affiliate commission so 4,000 sales x $30 = $120,000! Whoa! Now Wait…..how am I going to reach 10,000,000 people in a month or under 60 days?

I found out that there are plenty of companies out there that offer
Bulk Emailing services to ‘targeted’ consumers! Some actually send out
Opt-In emails that ask people what type of products they would like to
recieve emails about and some even have a form to fill out that asks
how much they are willing to spend on such products (via a checkbox
for $0-100 or $100-200 – $200-$500, etc.)

These customers fill out the form, Opt-In and then send the email back….You KNOW they’re interested and responsive customers! This is almost more like a Joint Venture situation. They have giant lists (millions of people) in many different niche markets, and you get to email your sales pitch to them. This is much better than buying email addresses and sending unsolicited email (Spam) to millions of people. We do not recommend that route. There are a lot of scammers out there, especially in this department so do your research!
